so how does one go about creating missions? sounds like a fun thing to play with ;)

1.45RC1 has two files in the "missions" folder, actcity2 and city, take a peek at them, I included rough documentation as to what each section does, the're made very similar to botconfig files. destinations and goals/positions are specified by referances to nodes which can be found using the "findnode" command with sv botdebug switched on. Only tricky part is setting up any mpmg's which are controlled by a spawn node and two angles specifying their angle of rotation. to give them a quick go, use engineRC2 and 1.45RC1 to fire up a game in teammissionplay on the city map, the hostage is held in the room with the radio, use "opendoor" to rescue her, and she will make her way to the exit, stand close, and she will wait for you.
1.45 contains only the "hostage" mission, and can only have 1 hostage.
1.5 Will also contain:
"candr" (capture and retrieve) - formally capture the gold, and will have exactly the same format as hostage (mission,start node,end node,model)
and
"kill" - (mission,home node,model)

in 1.5 you can also provide multiple missions, e.g.
"hostage",10,20,"messiah/blade";
"hostage",25,21,"female/brianna";
"kill",15,"messiah/kindig";

which would set up a mission with the storyline like "rescue blade and his girlfriend, and kill the master vampire", you can of course adapt these storylines to any model/movie you see fit.

it should be noted, however, that missions will not be perfected untill version 2, but I decided to include them earlier on, so people can get a little feel for what they will be like.
