thats right everone.. im moving to linux tonight. and ive only just started to question whats going to happen with ltktbm. im aware that there is a port of the ltktbm gamex86.dll for linux, however what about the engine etc?

just asking msparks.. is it possible, and have you ever considered, bringing your improvements to aq2 into linux? the best quake2 source (for linux) at the moment is at: http://www.icculus.org/quake2
it already includes quake2max.

chances are ill have to stick with relnev's quake2 (url above), which is basically a vanilla quake2 client optimised/tweaked for UNIX/linux/etc. then ill use this with the action mod - then use the ltktbm dll (or .so in linux) to play with bots.

its more of a gfx thing, the dll sourcecode (should) just compile straight off (but for the linux build I need to integrate the new route compiler code )
the other thing is the sound, openAL should work great in linux, but without it running on my own PC I'm not going to be able to hear it to test :(
