just been playing with the linux implimentation of openAL, not to shabby, looks like quite a few bugs that were fixed for windows recently remain in the linux implientation, but it could be I need to switch to a new openAL build...

mmm, <a href='http://www.cam-direct.co.uk/ltk/downloads/downloads.php?type=routes' target='_blank'>route rating</a> pays off:
actcity3: there was some problems caused by making this using the old (and buggy) route gen code which has just been fixed, it also highlighted some issues with generally handling dangerous areas while attacking or wandering near close teammates in these areas (namely jumping off tall ledges) I've still got to add the all singing and dancing dynamic terrain learning code (the stuff that in the origonal ltktbm based off ltk 1.1 allowed them to dodge bullets) which was originally planned for implimentation during the transition to the TBM_AI SDK, but will now be in 1.8 release 4.

yeah i was going to tell you about the bots falling off the ledges on maps such as city, but i thought it was pretty obvious.. and the extent wasnt sooo bad. its normally never more than 15% of the bots who fall anyway. 1.8r4 huh? sounds exciting :)

m203 requires bot integration and some further rounds of testing + player v_weaps.
further improvements of 'terrain awareness' (via amp-G2) needs implimenting to improve dealing with dangerous terrain.
FAQ.
better water SFX planned/in devel
demo video needs createing.
done:
m203 weapon,models and game code

actcity3 and city terrain file issues (available now on routes page).
lots of missing game content (lots of sounds) except nine2->suco/trem.wav, cant find it.

i think i read something about that trem.wav in nine2 on the AQ2 boards. the error seems to be the author's fault (look at the slash in how the map searches for it).

Where am I? - help I'm lost in the real world...

My machine is down :(, looks like a faulty memory stick, but its probably going to take me a few days to get a replacement, I was coming very close to passing a water tech test round to beta testers as of Friday, but untill I get my machine back up and running theres not a great deal I can do.

Ugh, well that was no fun :( 2 whole weeks without my machine, it was like I lost a limb...
Ended up being a faulty processor, but everything seems ok now, except my linux box is still out for the count, so untill I can get the latest stuff backed up on it and do a complete format-reinstall im stuck for working on linux.

For now Im going to have to concentrate on getting back up to speed on the odds and ends I've fallen behind with in uni which will probably take a good few days maybee a week or so.

Anyhow, slightly better end to the week, my exam results are in:

Principles of Microeconomics: 62%
Intro.to Accounting: 85%
Intro to Programming in Java: 91%
Mathematics for Info.Studies: 95%
average: 83.25%
yey :D

BTW, are any of you guys interested in spiritualism/religion and generally discussing the whole concepts? I've quite a lot written and have some views I might dump in place of the old PCP stuff thats still lurking in the root of cam-direct?

Managed to get some time into the new website design recently, along with completing the algorithm code for ACMP-G3 (Area Cost Multiple Path-Generation 3) which means another milestone is reached and work can begin putting the version 2 package together (version 1.9 has been with beta testers since January). What its looking likely to happen is there will be 3 files released simulataniously, the version 1.9 Full as a general public release, a version 2.0 demo and a version 2.0 donate-to-download release. With a tech demo to compliment version 2.0 released shortly afterwards.
Thats all for me for now
