Hey everyone, this is my first post here, so sorry if it's not in the right place. Anyway, on some of my maps (Millennium and The Rage) it tries to download quite a bit of files from the server, but it can't find them. Then once the map has loaded, a lot of the textures are completely different from what they're supposed to be.

This doesn't happen on an actual AQ2 installation, just on this standalone version. Any idea why it's doing this? Below I've mirrored the maps, so you can check them out in case you don't know which ones I'm referring to.

I can pretty much guess, and its whats been eating all my time up for the past month :)
basically, nearly all AQ2 maps use textures origonally supplied with quake2, with the first release of the standalone version, only required required and retextured baseq2 textures were included. unfortunately, what this means, is if you try and use a map which uses baseq2 textures not included in the release, you get spammed with 'server does not have this file' this is because these file are in pak0.pak and the server cant send you files that are inside a pak.
This has been rectified for the next release.
For the mean time, the fix is to use QPED, from the download page, to extract all the .wals from the texture directory in pak0.pak and pak1.pak from an origonal Q2 disk into the textures folder in your action directory.
