i had my server in TP mode with numbotsteam1 and numbotsteam2 set and not numclients. i gave my buddy the rcon_password and he tried changing it to DM. it flooded that "increase maxclients" error again. this happens whenever you have any of those new variables set and try to load DM. you can, howeve...

i noticed they get stuck on the bottom of the ladder in cliff2. otherwise they don't get stuck much.

thanks, i'll check that out.

i hear mandrake 9.0 is quite stable but i haven't heard anything about the recent beta they released (9.1). i've been considering downloading that and updating my machine.

i know hardcore programmers just use gdb to debug but i find it irritating. maybe its just because i haven't used it enough and taken the time to learn how to use it. regardless, does anyone know of an easy to use debugger for linux?
