im not sure but i think if you change your default mouse sensitivity, the zooms scale it automatically. if you want to change these scalings, then i think you will have problems.

im about to start using bloodshed dev c++ myself.. a friend (who is approximately the 3rd best c++ coder in australia, by the topcoder competition) recommends it. its completely open source so might want to take a look.

there's a server variable somewhere to turn off the extra weapons, but im not sure where.. sorry! perhaps msparks can enlighten you when he comes around.

through the menus.. when you go to start a new game. there should be some options you can toggle.

i think SCI (secure client identification) is enabled by default. when starting your server, turn it off. that should help..

you always seem to be so busy lately.. first with exams, then with getting engaged, and now moving countries? (boston in america, right?)

with the release of the q3 source in a week or so, it is now possible for someone to backport the features of the quake3 graphics/sound engine back into quake2, rip the reaction quake3 textures, to make a modern action quake2 client!

those two goals sound excellent.. especially the proliferation part. its good that your work will no longer be restricted to just the one q2 mod. the whole q2 community will be able to benefit.

as for cheats, do you want me to get some contacts from the australian aq2 community?
